 A water main was hit in front of 5109 E Moores Cr Rd. A precautionary boil order has been applied staring at 5117 E Moores Cr Rd continuing to the end of campground road at Address 5185 E Moores Cr Rd.
Boil Order has been Removed!  Effective 7/24/24
A water main was hit in front of 3655 S Snoddy Road. Customers on Snoddy Road, Rhorer Road, Moores Creek road, and sterling Avenue will be without water. Service will be returned tonight and a precautionary Boil order will be in effect. Effective 7/30/24 The boil water advisory has been lifted.  With the old man winter bearing down on East Monroe, here is some helpful information for frozen water pipes. For questions call our office at 812-335-849  Due to an increase in water rates from the City of Bloomington, East Monroe will be raising their water rates. The new amount will rise 40 cents on every thousand gallons. The old rate was 10.02$ per thousand gallons and will increase to 10.42$ per thousand gallons. The new minimum water bill for 0-3000 gallons will be $35.45.
