Reporting Leaks or Problems

If you are experiencing any problems with your water service, please contact our office immediately at 812-335-8499. If we don't answer, leave a message at the prompt. If you call after normal working hours, you will be instructed on how to contact our emergency response team.

Do you suspect a leak in the water line? These are the most common clues:

• Low water pressure or no water at all
• Unexplained ground water (puddling or mud)
• Water flowing or bubbling out of the ground

Be sure to know where your house shut-off valve is located in the event of inside plumbing problems. Our repair crews will make emergency service calls to turn water off at the meter, but it may take a while for them to get there. Leaks or other pumbing problems on your side of the meter are not the responsibility of EMWC.
