Water Quality.
​The water that we provide our members comes from the City of Bloomington Utilities Department. The water is tested on a regular basis and meets all quality standards. We have included a copy of the water quality analysis that we received from City of Bloomington Utilities. EMWC also tests for lead and copper at several sites in our system. EMWC test results have also met the EPA standards for safe drinking water. Our system collected samples under the U.S. EPA Unregulated Contaminants Monitoring Rule (UCMR) for 29 PFAS compounds and Lithium. This monitoring is being conducted so the EPA can receive occurrence data for these compounds to determine what additional compounds may need to be regulated in drinking water.
